This policy covers the website at velorion.tech and velorion.sk, run by Velorion Technologies ("we", "us"). Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked in the footer.
Contact form
When you send the contact form, we store:
- the name, email, company, inquiry type, and message you enter
- your IP address and your browser's user agent string
- a rough location (city, region, country, and network provider) looked up from your IP address
- the reCAPTCHA score Google returns for the request
We use this to reply to you, and to spot spam and abuse. To look up the rough location, we send your IP address to ipapi.co. A copy of your message is posted to a private Slack channel so we see it quickly.
Contact form records are deleted automatically 12 months after you send them. If you want yours deleted sooner, email us.
Spam protection
The contact form and the "show email" button use Google reCAPTCHA v3. It checks whether a visitor behaves like a person, and in doing so Google processes data about your browser and device. Google's privacy policy and terms apply.
To limit abuse, we keep a short-lived counter of requests per visitor. It is keyed by a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself, and is deleted automatically within about two hours.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to count visits and see which pages
people read, roughly where they are, and what kind of device they use. It sets
first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell repeat visits apart. We do not
use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with other data to build a
profile of you.
Analytics starts when you open the site. Visitors in Europe see a banner where they can decline it. Whatever you chose there, you can change it here:

Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage) under
velorion-analytics-consent. Google keeps analytics data for the retention
period set in our Analytics property, at most 14 months.
Hosting
The site is served by Google Firebase Hosting. Like any web server, it handles your IP address and request details to deliver the pages, and Google may keep short-term logs to run and secure the service.
Links to other services
Booking a call opens Calendly, and some project pages link to app stores or other sites. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you are on their pages.
Legal basis
We process contact form data to answer your message and to take steps you ask for before an agreement, and we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam. Analytics relies on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, and you can turn it off at any time above.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email contact@velorion.tech. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We do not sell personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top.
