Reclaim gigabytes on your Mac, safely.
QuickClean finds the space hogs on your Mac: stale caches, logs, developer clutter, and forgotten files, then lets you clear them in a couple of clicks. You review exactly what will be removed before anything is deleted, and nothing leaves your device.
What it does
- Smart scan. Surfaces reclaimable space across dozens of known safe targets: app and browser caches, system logs, Trash, diagnostic reports, temp files, and more.
- Made for developers. Cleans the usual heavyweights: Xcode DerivedData and archives, iOS device support, unavailable simulators, and package caches for npm, Homebrew, pip, Gradle, Cargo, SwiftPM, CocoaPods, Yarn and pnpm, plus project build folders and local AI model storage.
- Browse by size. Explore Documents, Downloads, Desktop and more with folder sizes measured live, biggest items first, so you decide yourself what to move to Trash.
- Review before you delete. See the full list and total for every category. Items go to the Trash, so nothing is permanently lost by surprise.
Why it's safe
- You're always in control. QuickClean only removes what you select, and shows the exact size and contents first.
- Protected paths are off-limits. System-critical and SIP-protected locations are never touched.
- Private by design. No file names, paths, or contents ever leave your Mac. Optional error diagnostics are fully redacted.
Highlights
- Native, fast, and responsive. Scanning and cleaning run off the main thread, so the UI never freezes on large operations.
- Accurate totals. Overlapping cleanup targets are de-duplicated, so the numbers reflect real reclaimable space.
- Instant re-navigation. Measured folder sizes are remembered as you browse.
