These terms constitute the end user license agreement ("EULA") for QuickSweep, listed on the App Store as QuickSweep: Disk Cleaner and published by Velorion Technologies ("we", "us"). By downloading or using QuickSweep, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. This agreement is with us, not Apple

This EULA is between you and Velorion Technologies only. It is not an agreement with Apple Inc. Apple is not a party to it. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for QuickSweep and its content. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for QuickSweep.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use QuickSweep on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not redistribute the app, make it available over a network where it could be used by several devices at once (except as the Usage Rules allow for Family Sharing), rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or reverse engineer it, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.

3. Free version, promotions, and QuickSweep Pro

QuickSweep is free to download. Scanning and cleaning are available in the free version.

Promotions. The free version may show a banner promoting apps, websites, or services offered by Velorion. QuickSweep does not use a third-party advertising network, personalized advertising, an advertising identifier, or cross-app tracking. QuickSweep Pro removes this promotional banner.
How the banner is filled. The banner is driven by a text-only manifest of our own products that the app fetches from our website. Tapping a promotion is recorded only as an aggregate analytics event. See the privacy policy for detail.
Turning promotions off. Subscribing to QuickSweep Pro removes the banner. We can also disable promotions remotely, for everyone, at any time and without notice.

4. Subscription terms (QuickSweep Pro)

QuickSweep Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through your Apple Account. The following applies to every plan:

What you get. Removal of the promotional banner, plus Clean History with Put Back, which lets you restore eligible items that QuickSweep moved to the Trash. Pro benefits apply for the full length of the billing period.
Plans available. There are two billing periods, and they unlock identical Pro benefits at the same subscription level:
- Monthly, product ID qcpmk1, an auto-renewable subscription billed every month.
- Yearly, product ID qcpymk1, an auto-renewable subscription billed every year.
Price. The price of each period is displayed by the App Store in your local currency in the app and on the App Store listing before you confirm any purchase. Prices may differ by region and may change: we will not change the price of an active subscription without notifying you and obtaining any consent Apple requires.
Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn auto-renewal off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
Managing and cancelling. You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase (System Settings, then your Apple Account, then Media & Purchases, then Manage). Cancelling stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid period: the current period itself cannot be cancelled part-way through. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Switching period. Because both periods sit at the same subscription level, you can switch between monthly and yearly in your Apple Account settings, and Apple applies the upgrade, downgrade, or crossgrade rules for that change.
Free trial, if offered. Where a plan includes a free trial, the length of the trial is stated on the purchase screen. If you buy a subscription before the trial ends, any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, not by us. Requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights that apply to you, including any right of withdrawal available to consumers in the EU.
Restoring purchases. Use "Restore purchases" in the app to re-activate an existing subscription on another Mac signed in to the same Apple Account.

5. Your files, backups, and data loss

QuickSweep deletes data only when you instruct it to do so. Please review the following information carefully:

QuickSweep only removes what you select. It shows you the contents and size of each category before anything is removed.
QuickSweep is sandboxed and can scan only the folders you grant it in the macOS Finder picker. You may select your startup disk there for a broader scan. macOS permissions and protected system locations still apply.
Removed items are moved to the Trash, not erased, unless the app tells you otherwise for that specific cleanup, or unless you empty the Trash yourself. Once the Trash is emptied, recovery is generally not possible. Clean History with Put Back can restore items only while they are still in the Trash.
You are responsible for your own backups. Keep a current backup (for example Time Machine) before running any cleanup tool, including this one.
You are responsible for the selections you make. Caches and build artifacts are safe to remove by design, but removing them can cause apps or development tools to rebuild data, re-download content, or sign you out.
We do not warrant that a cleanup will free a particular amount of space, that a category is relevant to your setup, or that any deleted item can be restored.

6. Maintenance and support

We provide QuickSweep support by email at contact@velorion.tech. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for QuickSweep.

7. Warranty

QuickSweep is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

In the event of any failure of QuickSweep to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to QuickSweep. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are our responsibility, not Apple's.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory warranty or consumer right that applies to you.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of QuickSweep. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us or Apple for QuickSweep in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Claims and intellectual property

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to QuickSweep or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that QuickSweep fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that QuickSweep or your use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights.

QuickSweep, its source code, and its trademarks remain our property. This EULA grants you no rights in them beyond the licence in section 2.

10. Third-party terms and legal compliance

You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using QuickSweep, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

11. Apple as third-party beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and, upon your acceptance of it, have the right (and are deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary of it.

12. Termination

The licence terminates if you stop using QuickSweep or breach these terms. Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination. Ending the licence does not by itself cancel or refund a subscription: cancel that in your Apple Account settings as described in section 4.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are noted in the app's release notes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
